#WildWednesday: Challenging techies to disconnect and creatives to reconnect

Join the Property District crew for our #WildWednesday summer series and rediscover your adventurous side

@ipropertyradio This summer the iPropertyRadio team are rolling out an exciting initiative, challenging the technies to disconnect. We are calling it #WildWednesday! The idea js for the team to take time – individually or together – to get back into the wild, exploring some of Irelands lessor known areas #ipropertyradio #placeengage #propertydistrict #irishrealestatenews #boat #walk #hike #swimming #standuppaddleboard #wildatlanticway #ireland ♬ Feels Like Summer

The Property District offices in Dublin and Galway will close on Wednesdays for July and August. Phones will be off and emails paused for 24 hours each week while our team members take time to explore Ireland and reconnect with the creative and restorative power of nature. [*Crisis communications arrangements remain in place via the confidential 24/7 contact number provided]

It has been a busy few years and Property District has experienced exciting growth since the Covid-19 pandemic, for which we are hugely grateful – thank you to the industry for your continuing support. We pride ourselves on being the most prolific communications and content agency for Ireland’s built environment, contributing to so many of the stories making news across the industry on a daily and weekly basis.

But is it not enough for us to be the busiest or the most productive, we need to be the best creatively.

We work with some of Ireland’s most inspiring property developers and their funders, some world-class construction and specialist contractors, and with some of the most innovative proptech and contech teams transforming real estate right now – not to mention our work with the estate agencies that are leading much of this industry change.

Our clients inspire us and challenge us to be better – we need to rise to this challenge, not by doing more but by doing better.

At Property District, what makes us different is our strategic approach to tackling some of the most deeply ingrained industry challenges. We are constantly finding new ways of doing this and where better to be inspired than in the landscape our clients are aiming to sustainably enhance and protect for the enjoyment and livelihood of generations to come?

We need a touch of wildness in our lives – do you?

In a world where technology has become an integral part of our daily lives, it’s easy to lose touch with the beauty of the natural world around us. We invite you to join us for our #WildWednesday summer series – adventures that challenge techies to disconnect and creatives to reconnect with the wild. Get ready to explore the lesser-known areas of Ireland, embark on gentle adventures on land and water, and experience the rejuvenating power of nature firsthand. Clients, industry colleagues and friends (even those we have yet to meet online!) are more than welcome to join us, as long as  you switch off their devices for a few hours.

Oh, and did we mention your furry friends are invited too (land-based activities)?

Please note, these are not corporate days or networking opportunities, we are simply going for a walk, or a sail, or a hike, and you will be more than welcome to join us – email katie@propertydistrict.ie with your location.

Unplug and unlock the wild

In a world dominated by screens and constant connectivity, taking a break from technology has become a rarity. #WildWednesday is here to change that. It’s time to break free from the digital realm and immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring beauty of Ireland’s hidden treasures. Whether you’re a techie yearning for a digital detox or a creative soul seeking fresh inspiration, this initiative promises to ignite a spark within you.

Discover Ireland’s hidden gems

Ireland is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, but there’s so much more to explore beyond the beaten path. #WildWednesday is your chance to venture into the lesser-known areas, where untouched beauty and untamed adventures await. From rolling hills and rugged coastlines to serene lakes and ancient forests, Ireland offers a diverse range of landscapes that will leave you in awe.

Land and water adventures

For #WildWednesday, we believe in embracing the spirit of adventure. Take part in activities such as standup paddleboarding in secluded Connemara bays, hill -walking off the beaten track in Wicklow, kayaking in West Cork, and more (suggestions welcome!). Challenge yourself as you conquer picturesque trails, paddle through crystal-clear waters, and immerse yourself in the wild Irish countryside.

Let the Irish landscape and natural wonders invigorate your spirit as you reconnect with the world around you.

Switch off to switch on

One of the fundamental principles of #WildWednesday is disconnecting from devices to reconnect with nature and ourselves. By switching off your gadgets, you’ll open yourself up to meaningful connections, authentic experiences, and the chance to truly be present in the moment. Unplug from the digital noise and embrace the tranquility of the wild. The benefits of a digital detox are countless – increased focus, reduced stress, enhanced creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

Join us

We believe that great experiences are meant to be shared. That’s why we extend a warm invitation to our clients and industry colleagues to join us on this adventure series. While not corporate days or networking events, it will be an opportunity to chat about anything. And yes, your four-legged friends are more than welcome too!

So, if you are seeking respite from the digital realm or a creative spirit longing for inspiration, join us on this summer escapade through Ireland’s hidden gems. Pack your sense of adventure, leave behind the screens, and prepare to be captivated by the best that Ireland has to offer – email katie@propertydistrict.ie to join us any wednesday.
