  • Volumetric chief executive Vaughan Buckley said the decision to base their operation in Monaghan was due to the hub of relevant talent “originally brought together through the vision and leadership of [Century Homes founder] Gerry McCaughey”. He also noted: “Ireland and its healthcare, housing and infrastructure needs represent a huge opportunity for partnership and collaboration with the off-site sector.”

Open public consultations and community engagement 




  • Ambitious plan for Carrigtwohill will be open for people to vote on from Wednesday: Carrigtwohill 2040 proposals include a decade of festivals to help put the East Cork town on the tourism map alongside Fota Wildlife Park and Midleton Distillery

  • This week, Kilkenny will become the hub of Modern Methods of Construction as the MMC Ireland National Conference 2024 takes place on 22nd & 23rd May at The Lyrath Estate, with close to 400 delegates registered! We look forward to seeing you there 
























  • Bid to extend permission for Cork 753-home development rejected: Longview Estates was granted planning in 2020 for houses and apartments at Lahardane, Ballyvolane, but had applied to extend the permission from seven years to 10 due to the pandemic


  • Planning greenlit for secondary school in Douglas: The Cork Educate Together Secondary School will be located on a site adjoining Maryborough Woods estate and will cater for 600 students in the catchment area.
