If you missed last week’s round-up, you can catch up here: https://propertydistrict.ie/sunday-roundup/

As always, you might let me know if I have missed out on any relevant property news by emailing  carol@propertydistrict.ie.

(Apologies in advance for any typos, it’s difficult to get good help on a Sunday. Also, I use voice to text dictation so just sound out anything that really doesn’t make sense in a strong rural accent and that should help!)

BlockAngel’s Andrew Farrell – Digitising block management and tackling the sinking fund crisis

In the iPropertyRadio.com Proptech Hot Seat today is Andrew Farrell, founder of Blockangel discussing the €60m of service charges that go uncollected each year in Ireland and the consequences of underfunded sinking funds.

“Every compliant apartment owner in Ireland is effectively paying a premium of 20% to compensate for non-paying owners – by tackling this, BlockAngel can reduce service charges for everyone…” Andrew Farrell
